The following is a guide to opening an account for customers in Japan.
For registraion as corporate account, please refer to How to register on bitbank (corporation).
1．Go to bitbank.cc ( https://bitbank.cc/en/) and enter your email address in the box and click the "Signup" button.
2．After clicking on the "Signup" button, an authentication email will be sent to your registered email address when the message is displayed.
3．Click on the URL in the email sent to your registered email address.
4．Click on the URL and register for biometric login on the screen displayed. If you wish to register with a password, tap 「パスワード認証で新規登録」 Registration with password authentication.
5.(When registering with a password) Enter the password, check the confirmation box, and press the 「登録」Register button.
6．Select "個人口座 ( personal accont )" and enter your name, furigana*, date of birth on the registration.
*Your name in katakanas you register must be the same as the name of your bank account to be able to make a Japanese Yen withdrawal.
7．Select ”外国籍 ( foreign nationality )” and enter your address then click "次に進む ( next )" button.
8．Please answer each question by selecting the one closest to your situation from among the answer choices.
9．Enter your phone number and confirm that you are NOT PEPs (Politically Exposed Persons) , or anti-social forces. After that, click "確認 ( confirm )" button.
※Please note that it is not allowed for those who apply to the above (PEPs, anti-social forces) to open an account.
10．Please make sure that everything you have filled out is correct.
※Please note that if you register an incorrect Furigana, you will not be able to withdraw money in Japanese Yen.
11．Click "登録 ( register )" button if you are sure that the information you have filled out is correct.
12．You have now registered your basic information. You can now proceed to upload your identification documents.
13. Select the type of identification documents you want to upload.
14．Once you have selected the type, select the identification documents to upload and upload both sides of each.
※Please make sure to photograph and upload the original documents for identification. (Photocopies or scanned versions are not acceptable.)
※If the size of the image is large, please compress it before uploading.
15．Select the second form of identification and upload it in the same way.
16．After selecting an image, click on "アップロードする ( upload )" button.
17．Once you have confirmed that the type of identification document and the image you have uploaded are correct, click "この内容で登録する ( Register with this information )" button.
※Although both sample images show a driver's license, you will be asked to upload another type of identification document such as a health insurance card.
18．Your registration is complete when you see the message "Upload of identification documents completed". Please wait for a while until the review is completed.

If your application is successful, we will send you a confirmation of your address by mail.
Please note that the review process may take some time due to the increase in the number of new account applications.
