Accounts for customers living outside of Japan (non-residents) are usually not permitted by bitbank.
However we do provide accounts for corporate entities registered outside of Japan, given the conditions.

The following is a guide to opening an account for customers in Japan.
1.To create a corporate account at bitbank, we ask you to please provide the following documents.
- Certificate of full registry records (Issued within 6 months)
- Certificate of a seal-impression (Corporate,Issued within 6 months)
- A letter of attorney (When the representative and the person in charge are different)
※The power of attorney must be stamped with the seal registered on the seal certificate
- The trading manager's Identity verification documents

Regarding the Certificate of full registry records and Certificate of a seal-impression
■ Certificate of full registry records
Please ensure that the title, reference number, and page numbers are clearly visible in the submitted images.
The maximum number of pages that can be uploaded is 60 pages.

Submission in PDF format is acceptable, provided that:
The document is a color scan.
Photocopies or black-and-white scans are not accepted.
■ Address Confirmation

If the Representative Director and the Transaction Administrator are the same person, please ensure that:
The Representative’s current address stated in the Certificate of full registry records and
The registered address of the Transaction Administrator
are exactly the same.
If the Representative’s address is not listed in the Certificate of full registry records, the review process will still proceed.
However, we may contact you by email if additional verification is required during the review process.
Regarding the Power of Attorney

Please use our designated Power of Attorney format (download link provided separately).
The document must be stamped with the seal registered on the Seal Registration Certificate.

Submission in PDF format is acceptable, provided that:
The document is a color scan.
Photocopies or black-and-white scans are not accepted.
Regarding Identity Verification Documents
Please refer to What documents can I use for identification to open an account ? for a list of acceptable documents.

The Transaction Administrator’s identity verification document must be:
A photograph of the original document taken directly, and
Not a copy or scanned image (color or black-and-white scans are not accepted).

When taking the photo, please ensure:
The entire document is visible, and
The contents are clear and legible.

Accepted file formats are:
PNG or JPG only.
Regarding Registered Information
Please provide the full head office address, including the building name and room number.
As an address verification postcard will be sent, please ensure the address provided is one where mail can be successfully delivered.
2.How to Register on bitbank
1.Please visit bitbank's official website.（https://bitbank.cc/en/)
Enter your email in the form and click on the [Sign up] button.
2.When [メールを送信しました] is displayed, a verification email has been sent to your registered email address.
3.Please click on the URL in the email you received.
4. Click on the URL and register for biometric login on the screen displayed. If you wish to register with a password, tap 「パスワード認証で新規登録」 Registration with password authentication.
5.(When registering with a password) Enter the password, check the confirmation box, and press the 「登録」Register button.
6.Please enter your company information.

11.The final confirmation screen.
If the registration information is correct, please press the [登録]button on the next screen.
Registration is complete.
To revise the information, press the [修正]button to return to the previous screen.
3.Receive the Address Verification Postcard to verify your address.
After your documents have been approved, the postcard will be sent to both the corporate address and the trading manager's address.
Your account will be opened once both postcards have been received.
*Entering the PIN code printed on the postcard is not required, as the account will be automatically activated.
*The activation will be completed once our system confirms receipt, so it may take some time to take effect.
