About XRP Deposit Addresses on bitbank
Our XRP deposit address is a common address for all customers.
Due to XRP specifications, only addresses that hold at least 20 XRP are considered valid deposit addresses.
Therefore, if we provide a separate address for each customer, the above 20XRP must be paid from the customer's assets when depositing.
In order to avoid the above restriction, we consider an address as a bank branch name and a destination tag as a bank account number, and perform matching by destination tag at the same address.
What is a Destination Tag?
Destination Tag is a number that identifies the transferred XRP as belonging to the customer.
When depositing XRP to bitbank, please be sure to enter the Destination Tag in addition to the XRP deposit address.
Your Destination Tag is listed on the XRP deposit page.
Please note that in principle, no refunds will be processed if XRP is sent with the wrong Destination Tag.
