How to set up
*Two-factor authentication (2FA) can only be configured when Password Authentication is enabled.
*If your security level is set to High, the Password Authentication option will not be displayed. For more information about security levels, please refer to the relevant FAQ.
*You must be logged in to your account before you can set up two-factor authentication.
1.Please"Password" on the Settings page.
2.Please tap the "二段階認証 (Two-Factor Authentication)".
Depending on your current security settings, complete one of the verification methods displayed on the screen, such as a Passkey, SMS Authentication, or Email Verification.
3.Copy the Secret Key displayed below.
Note: If you would like to use a QR code instead, proceed to Step 4.
4.Open Google Authenticator.
5.Tap the "+" icon in the bottom-right corner, then select Enter a setup key.
Note: If you would like to scan a QR code instead, tap Scan a QR code, scan the QR code displayed in Step 3, and then proceed to Step 8.
6.In the Account name field, enter an easy-to-recognize name such as "bitbank".
7.In the Key field, paste the Secret Key copied in Step 3, then tap Add.
8.In Google Authenticator, copy the verification code displayed for your bitbank account.
9.Return to the bitbank.cc app, paste the verification code, and tap Set Up.
Important: If you close the settings screen in the bitbank app or reload the page, a new QR code and Secret Key will be generated, and the currently displayed verification code will become invalid.
If this occurs, delete the existing bitbank account entry from your authenticator app, repeat Steps 1–8, and register again using the latest QR code or Secret Key.
10. Two-factor authentication (2FA) setup is now complete.
If You Cannot Complete the Setup
The circular timer displayed next to the 6-digit verification code indicates the remaining validity period of the code.
If setup fails, the verification code may have expired. Please enter the latest verification code before it expires.
