If we inform you that there is a discrepancy in your nationality when we deny your application, it may be due to the following reasons.
・A foreign national has applied as a "Japanese national".
・There is a discrepancy between the selected nationality and the nationality shown on the identification documents (resident card, special permanent resident certificate).
※Please note that the nationality to be selected is different for those "Korea（朝鮮）", "Republic of Korea（韓国）", and "Democratic People's Republic of North Korea（北朝鮮）" nationals.
※In many cases, Korean nationals（韓国籍） select "Korea" instead of "Korea, Republic of".
Please confirm that you have correctly selected the nationality shown on your identification documents (resident card or special permanent resident certificate) when you reapply for the review.
