By June 9, 2023, the Law for Prevention of Transfer of Criminal Proceeds, etc. will be amended.
Accordingly, Japan's crypto asset exchanges will be required to comply with the Travel Rule.
As part of compliance with the Travel Rules, when sending crypto assets directly to the crypto asset exchanges located in a country or region designated by law, it is necessary to send the crypto assets after sending a notification of the information based on the Travel Rules.
Crypto assets cannot be sent directly to certain crypto asset exchanges that may not be able to provide accurate notification as required by law, such as when the crypto asset exchange to which the notification is sent uses a notification system different from that of bitbank, etc.
Please check the list below for crypto asset exchangers that are located in countries/regions that are no longer allowed to directly send crypto assets as stipulated by laws and regulations.
※After the travel rule comes into effect, you will still be able to deposit and withdraw crypto assets from exchanges that are not on the list.
